I wasn’t happy with how clean my first room was. There was hair in the sheets, grease marks on the headboard like it hadn’t been wiped, food residue on the floor, and leftover food in the mini fridge. It made me suspect housekeeping might not actually change the sheets. Staff were great about moving me to another room and discounting the stay, so the service was good, but the rooms didn’t seem properly cleaned.

I’m writing to the hotel staff and manager. I called this morning to cancel my reservation before a no-show fee, but I’d already missed the cancellation window and couldn’t cancel it myself. As a team member, I understand the process. Brenda said she couldn’t cancel because it was a team member reservation and told me to do it myself or call corporate. But I couldn’t do it myself at that point, which is why I called the property, and as a fellow team member she should know that. I called the team help line, and they were very nice. They confirmed Brenda was wrong: hotel staff can cancel team member rates without calling corporate. I’ve done this several times before as a team member. Brenda and her manager should get a call to learn the cancellation policy. Thanks for your time this morning, and have a great day.

We were so happy with our one-night stay. The hotel was clean and close to lots of food options, and the woman who checked us in was really kind to us and our kids.

We stayed one night on the way to Florida. The breakfast was good, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were so accommodating. Mrs Brenda was the best part. She was very kind to my children, put cartoons on for them during breakfast, and even sent them off with coloring books.
