The Beach Waikiki Boutique Hostel

Best hostel stay I’ve ever had. Rooms are basic but clean, and the facilities are great. You can rent beach stuff, and the rooftop has a really fun vibe. The staff and other guests were incredibly helpful and friendly. I stayed in a mixed dorm and was the only woman, but the guys sharing the room were amazing. I can’t recommend this enough. Book ASAP, it fills up quickly for good reason!

We didn’t get a room, so I can’t comment on what those are like. Instead, my fiancé, 53, and I, 55, tried the new “day traveler” plan after checking out of our hotel early with a late flight ahead. We were the first guests to use it. The facilities let us shower, use beach things, and relax in a very nice common area. The staff were amazing, friendly, open, and accommodating. The location was great, two blocks from the beach and near lots of places to eat. They made our last day much easier and more comfortable. Thank you to everyone there.

This was my first time staying in a hostel, and I liked it so much I extended my visit. Beach Waikiki set a very high bar for future stays. Zain, Ivory, Tim, and Royal took great care of me, and the volunteers were always happy to help or just chat. There’s a lot to enjoy: kind staff and volunteers, friendly people passing through, clean rooms, free breakfast, complimentary beach gear, and discounted tours each day. The location is amazing, and the rooftop is a great place to relax during the day or enjoy events at night. I hope my next hostel is this special.

It’s just three minutes from any beach or bar, with shops nearby too. The receptionists were happy to point us toward local spots where we could get a fuller feel for the culture. The rooms were just right for dropping our things before heading out to enjoy the island. This place was amazing, and I can’t wait to come back.
