It's an older place, but we were comfortable and felt safe. The host was terrific and friendly, and the people we met around this small, quaint town were friendly too. The AC in our room wasn't very cool, though fortunately it wasn't terribly hot. Breakfast wasn't healthy, but at least it gave us something to eat. I'd recommend staying here.

Hot Springs was a nice town, with great architecture and, of course, great springs. The Dew Drop Inn next door had really great food, easily the best I had in town. We also liked the motel itself: easy to find, with spacious, clean, quiet rooms and nice scenery around it. The people running it were great. The price was very good compared with other places in the region, and we saved over $250 versus the motel we looked at in Rapid City. I'll definitely stay here again when we come back to visit.

The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was simple but good. The owner was very friendly, and we saw deer in the neighborhood at dusk. It's also well located for Wind Cave National Park, Custer State Park, and Mount Rushmore. Lodging around here seemed a little dated, but I'd recommend this place.

The morning staff were quick to help with breakfast requests. There were mini donuts and plenty of options, and the beds didn't leave me with a broken back. The AC worked great and the TV was good too. The rooms are dated, but clean, and so was the bathroom.

Great for people traveling with dogs. I had four little pups and they didn't give me any trouble, unlike most hotels. The front desk staff were friendly, and my room was very clean and quaint, with a bit of a retro feel and a really quiet atmosphere. It stayed cool on a summer night, and the water stayed hot. A wonderful experience.
