Pablo and Donnetta gave us a warm welcome and a personal touch during a difficult medical trip. Pablo even greeted us with, “Never fear, Pablo is here,” and, after meeting my wife, kindly told her, “I knew she would be beautiful.” He has a real gift for hospitality. My wife and I came to Houston for treatment at MD Anderson. We’d first tried to book the property connected to the hospital, but there was no availability, and I’m glad we ended up here. After a long travel day and the emotional weight of the visit, the clean, quiet space was just what we needed to decompress. The location was convenient, with groceries nearby for stocking the mini-fridge and restaurants when we wanted a change of scenery. The lobby coffee bar was a nice perk, and the business center is laid out especially well for getting work done. I can’t recommend the Courtyard by Marriott Houston Medical Center/NRG Park highly enough.

Pablo and Jackie at the front desk have been amazing every time, greeting us with big smiles and friendly service. We’ve stayed several times over the past month while my grandmother gets treatment at MD Anderson. We feel safe as two women traveling alone, and the hotel is clean and affordable, with comfortable beds. It’s a bit of an odd location, but it’s not far from the hospital. The main problem has been the shower water. It’s been cold whether we tried showering during the day or at night. If they can resolve that, we plan to make this our regular overnight spot.

The hotel is a little outdated, but Grace and Pablo made our stay so smooth that I’ll come back every time. We were here for work during the winter storm, and as a mom I brought my family along. With the kids, two nights can be stressful, but they helped everything go well from check-in through checkout and never got annoyed when I asked a million and one questions. I don’t know where the company found them, but they’d better never let them go!

We’ve stayed here twice and would recommend it if you need a place to stay. The rooms have comfortable beds and plenty of space, including in the restroom, plus a mini fridge and microwave in each one. Pablo at the front desk was fantastic, getting us checked in quickly and making sure we had what we needed. There’s a Bistro/Bar in the lobby where you can buy breakfast, lunch, dinner, and coffee.

We booked ten days here because we needed to stay close to the hospital for surgery. I asked the front attendant to have the room cleaned and the sheets changed on the day of surgery, but when we returned the next day, that hadn’t been done. They made the bed, changed the towels, and took out the trash, but the sheets were still the same and nothing had been swept or vacuumed. After surgery, having to wait 30 minutes to get into a clean bed was unfair, especially since the ten-day stay had been paid for in advance. If I need a room for medical reasons again, I won’t book here. I’m very disappointed.
