Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Houston Hobby Airport

The quality has slipped too. A lot of rooms smell moldy because the refrigerators leak. I used to prefer staying here whenever I was in Houston, but since January they haven’t refunded my deposit at checkout, even when there’s no damage or smoking. I hope they enjoyed the $300-plus, because I won’t be back.

I slept amazingly here, even though I deal with neck and back pain. The area felt safe, the place was clean, and the coffee was great. The staff were awesome too. It’s a really nice stay for a good price, and I’d recommend it.

We were pleasantly surprised by this place. It was the nicest two-star hotel we’ve stayed at, and it was very close to Hobby airport, exactly what we needed. The shuttle driver was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic but fine, with Texas-shaped waffles, precooked eggs, sausage, yogurt, juice, and more.

I was charged twice for the room. At check-in, the front desk clerk said she had canceled the second charge, and booking.com showed it as canceled, but both charges were on my bank statement when I left. I also never got my $100 deposit back.
