The owners were so nice, they even gave me some food to try from Las Filipinas. The hostel was extremely clean and comfortable, with a big house and really comfortable beds. The location is great, close to DTW and all the bars. Definitely a great option if you’re staying in Houston.

I usually don’t stay in hostels, but I booked this one at the last minute because the photos and reviews looked good. It seemed more like a cozy, clean home than a commercial hostel, and downtown hotel prices had suddenly tripled. I had a great experience, especially for the rate I got. It’s very close to downtown.

I spent a week here and had a great time. The rooms and common areas are comfortable, and the place is clean. Harold was really nice and helpful. It’s in Midtown, about a half-hour walk from downtown, and I’d definitely recommend MyCrib to anyone looking for a hostel in Houston.

I stayed here for a few days for a conference at George brown. It’s a homely hostel in a good neighborhood, with a great host, well-kept accommodation, and a reasonable price. I made some good friends among the other guests at MyCrib. The host went out of his way for a lot of guests, including giving free rides and going along to interesting places, even while the city was having some bad weather.

MyCrb Houston was one of my best hostel stays. Harold and Cathy made the home feel inviting and organized, and they went out of their way to help make the visit memorable. Everything was immaculate, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Breakfast is included, and it’s nice to sit around the table and talk through the day’s plans. If you’re traveling alone, the family atmosphere means you don’t feel on your own. They share information about attractions, food, and social outings, and help with whatever questions you have. I can’t wait to visit Houston again and stay at My Crib. I’ll be back!
