The jacuzzi suite was really nice, and the room was clean. The front desk guy was strange, though. He kept asking my partner and me whether anyone else was coming, even after we’d said no three times. Aside from that, it was good for the price.

I was left in a really upsetting situation here. A man I’d just met said he’d paid for two weeks, showed me a $429 receipt, and even let me drive his car briefly. After we hung out, he said he was popping to the store and would be right back. Then hotel staff started knocking and told me he’d left without any reason and had apparently done this before. I had no way to reach him. I took my clothes and left the food behind, while the man at the desk hurried me out and kept asking how I knew the guy. He couldn’t tell me whose name was on the room 115 ID. I had to take the 85 and then the 45 back toward where I’d been picked up. I’m hurt and feel disrespected. He also took the tent I’d just bought. It turns out he’d only paid for three hours, even though I thought it was two weeks.

I’ve stayed here before, but this time the woman at the desk was rude and, in my view, racist and homophobic. I came to get a room for my brother and me, and after I explained we’re blood relatives, she still said she couldn’t give a room to two men. She also wanted to charge us $95 instead of the original $85 because we were men. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. I’m leaving this review and will call corporate too.
