The staff were friendly overall, and the woman at the desk was especially nice when we arrived. But the manager who came out was rude while we were trying to pay in full with tap to pay and use a separate card for incidentals. We also had trouble with our Affirm booking because the hotel didn't confirm it, so it ended up being canceled. After we dropped our bags in the first room and went out, we came back that night to set up the pullout couch for the kids. The mattress cover had urine and blood stains on it. The nice desk attendant moved us to another room, but its couch was dirty too, with what looked like makeup or candy on it. We were exhausted and didn't want to cause any more trouble, so all three kids squeezed into one bed instead. I really think the rooms need a deep clean. The cleanliness was bad enough that I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The room was generally clean, and breakfast was good. But the sleeper sofa was broken and uncomfortable, and the front desk person disappeared several times, leaving us waiting before they came back. Someone hit and damaged my car in the parking lot. That's not the hotel's fault, but they don't have cameras there, which is.

I stayed for three weeks and left really disappointed. The Wi-Fi was so poor that working was difficult, and when I raised it, I was basically told to deal with it. The elevators were slow and often out of service, which would be a real problem for anyone who relies on them. The front desk staff, especially Lisa, were passive-aggressive and unhelpful. When I asked for help, she didn't seem interested in finding a solution. I wouldn't recommend this place if reliable service and basic professionalism matter to you.

Whenever I come to Houston, I choose this hotel and would definitely recommend it. It's in an accessible location, the service is efficient, and any issue I've had was sorted out quickly. Rooms are cleaned every couple of days, with a deeper refresh on Saturdays.

We had a great weekend in the King suite. It was spacious and comfortable, very clean, and everything worked, including the hot water. They provided a pack and play for our infant, which worked great, and the pool was clean with nice amenities. The front desk staff were always super nice. My grandparents were even allowed to come over for dinner and cook out with us. Breakfast did run out quickly, but otherwise we had a great stay and will book again. I don't know why people rate this hotel so low. Thank you! - Christopher & Wendy
