Scottish Inns and Suites Willowbrook – Houston, TX

I’d stayed here a few nights before and it was decent enough for a bit of sleep, but last night was really uncomfortable. The bathroom had two roaches, one on the floor and another by the toilet on the wall. The microwave was disgusting and unsanitary, and there were stains on the bedsheets, so I had to ask for replacements. I woke up itching a little, too. When I told the woman about the bugs and microwave the next morning, she just looked at me like I was crazy. Cleanliness matters a lot to me. The business needs to keep the microwaves, refrigerators, bathrooms, towels, and sheets in good shape all the time. They need better cleaners, because that was terrible. I don’t think I’ll be back.

I’d been a loyal customer for a long time without any problems, but about a month ago I went in for a room and found roaches in the bathroom. I asked to switch rooms, and the second one had smaller roaches too. I even stepped on one as I went in. When I asked the front desk for a refund, they refused. Later, when I tried to book again, they basically told me I was blacklisted because I’d left after asking for my money back. That’s a terrible way to treat someone who’s paid and stayed there for years.

Thank you for being a great company and not taking advantage of people during a pandemic and a disaster. The rooms are brand new and very nice. I got a king suite for the price of a regular room, even though they didn’t have to do that. It came with a microwave, stovetop, and refrigerator. I’ll make sure to stay here whenever I need a room. The bathroom looked really nice, with LED lighting around the edge, and the beds were large and very soft. There were blue LED lights that you could dim, too. I’ll come back!
