A great option for an early departure since you can get up and check your bags without going far. The free parking is now in an outside lot, which is a bit less convenient, though there's a direct path to the entrance. When my mother was checking out in the rain, Brianna kindly wheeled her luggage to the loading zone. The staff are exceptionally helpful. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. You need a key card to reach the guest floors by elevator. The on-site restaurant is a little pricey, but that's understandable for an airport.

The receptionists are friendly, and the location works well if you only need a short rest, with the TSA less than a five-minute walk away. My company has booked me here more than five times, so I haven't had a choice. The rooms I've stayed in haven't been clean. The wrinkled bedding made it seem like the sheets and pillowcases hadn't been changed, and this last time they hadn't been changed again. The bathroom floor was sticky, with hair on it and in the bathtub. I also waited 15 minutes for the elevator. There's only one microwave in the whole hotel, on the third floor. On April 13, 2025, I had to stay again, this time on the fourth floor after the fifth floor last time. As expected, I found at least two kinds of hair in the bathroom, and the sheets and pillowcases hadn't been changed. I saw the owner's reply to my first comment, but I arrived after 8 PM and left at 6 AM, so I didn't think I could get in touch with management. I was due back the following week, which I wasn't looking forward to. On April 26, 2025, I stayed for the fourth time that month, on the sixth floor. No improvement. So disappointed.

The beds felt a little worn, though the pillows were firm, and the room itself wasn't outdated. The AC gets nice and cold. You may hear planes, but since the hotel is connected to the main terminal, that's expected. Decent place.

I changed how I rate hotels because my scores for mediocre and great places were too close. Now I start each hotel at 2.5 stars, adding half a star for each net positive and subtracting half a star for each net negative. For Four Points Sheraton Huntsville Airport, the location earns a plus. I'm a frequent traveler and like airport hotels, especially when they're well integrated with the airport. This one is extremely convenient: the front desk is inside the airport, and security is just 50 feet from the elevator. The hotel bar also serves as an airport bar. Service was mostly a negative. I generally find American customer service poor compared with the rest of the world, and entitled service workers frustrate me. In hospitality, staff should be hospitable and service-oriented; it shouldn't feel like an inconvenience to interact with them. Most of my interactions left me feeling like I was bothering the staff. The bartender and the afternoon/evening front desk man were exceptions. I stayed three days, and my room was never fully cleaned during that time. The hotel is small, but the bar is pretty good. The gym is tiny, though enough for a quick workout, especially when jet lag has you waking at 0300. The executive lounge was closed, another thing I find frustrating about American hotels. Still, the garage is very close to the hotel entrance and complimentary, so amenities are a net positive for a mid-tier hotel and frequent travel. The bathroom layout is poor. The decor mixes Moxy-style minimalism with a standard mid-range look, including a dresser with small boxes and basic fixtures. The AC was hard to get working without assistance, and the TV wouldn't take external devices like Fire Sticks, so the room was neither good nor bad for me. It's a good hotel that falls short of its potential because of poor management. Even so, I'd stay again. Three stars.
