I was in town for Idaho City Days and stayed at the Idaho City Hotel. The welcome was warm, and the staff were accommodating. I also liked having a shared room with a microwave and fridge. The mattress was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on. I'd happily stay again, highly recommend it.

I only spent one night here, and now wish I'd stayed longer to explore the western shops and restaurants within walking distance. Laura, the manager, was welcoming and went out of her way to help. The clean, cozy hotel has a homey feel and made a peaceful spot to stay in the Idaho City mountains. She brought that old-fashioned Western hospitality you don't find every day. I'd gladly return.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the stay was much better than I expected. My son and I were in Idaho City last weekend to ride dirt bikes, and the woman who checked us in made us feel genuinely welcome. We appreciated how much pride she took in her job and the hotel. It was a great visit, and we hope to come back soon.

This quaint, charming hotel might even be haunted! We accidentally booked two hotels, and manager Lora was incredibly helpful and accommodating. She made the whole stay worthwhile. Highly recommend it.

We got stranded in the mountains with car trouble and arrived in this little town in the middle of the night with three kids. The woman running the hotel was incredibly accommodating. It's a simple, beautiful place with plenty of history. In the morning I got to see the town's historic feel and walkable streets. I'd recommend it as a stop on an adventure in the area.
