A great find, with everything clean, comfortable, and easy. You’re right where you want to be in Idaho Springs, close to everything and surrounded by great views. I’ll definitely stay again.

Room 33 smelled strongly of cat urine throughout. I think they assumed that because I had a dog, I’d be okay with a disgusting room. At $180.00 a night, this was an awful place to stay. We lasted four hours, regretted every minute, and got no refund.

Susie at the front desk was professional and courteous. The rooms were clean, accommodations were good, and the place was affordable with a great location and good parking. Very nice, and I highly recommend it.

Check-in at night was the only good part of our stay. The bathroom window wouldn’t lock, so I used my toothbrush as a makeshift security lock. Thank goodness Safeway was next door. The fridge barely stayed cool, and the hair dryer outlet didn’t work. When I told the grumpy woman with white hair, she brushed it off and said there was no maintenance on weekends and I’d have to wait until Monday. There was no iron or ironing board, which seemed odd. I chose book now, pay later, but they charged my card at 10 am before I’d checked in. When I called at 5 pm, a rude woman said she had charged it because that was the policy. I told her I hadn’t even arrived yet, but she repeated that it was the policy. The shower was awful, too: even after letting the water run for several minutes, it never got lukewarm. We tried this little motel for Mother’s Day weekend, and it was a big mistake. I highly recommend staying somewhere else. It’s a cute place, which makes the disappointment worse.
