I stayed here twice, first for three weeks and later for two. The first visit was pleasant, but the second was not. Clothes were stolen and damaged in the guest laundry room, and the hotel couldn’t identify who did it because there’s no camera and no room key is needed to enter. The laundry room at the neighboring Fairfield is clean and well maintained, with a key lock and a camera. Here, the laundry room still hadn’t been cleaned a week after the incident, so I couldn’t use it. I also found ants around the floor of my room. The hotel compensated me for the clothes and changed my room, but the safety and cleanliness issues weren’t addressed. If you’re staying longer than a week, I’d consider another hotel.

Our newly renovated room looked very nice, and the water pressure was a little low. Jeff gave us a five-star welcome at check-in on 4/16, recognizing our elite status and explaining the complimentary snacks, drinks, and breakfast. The trouble came the next morning. We went downstairs for the breakfast he’d told us was complimentary and mistakenly ended up in the main dining area. As we were making plates, the hostess rudely said we weren’t on the list and that it cost $21.99 per person. We told her we’d been told it was free, and she snapped that it wasn’t, instead of directing us to the elite room where the complimentary breakfast was served. Jeff was great, but that interaction was one star, so I rated the stay three. The older blonde lady needs to work on her people skills if she doesn’t want to keep bringing the ratings down.

The makeover was completed in March 2026, and everything now feels fresh, modern, and spotless. Rooms have updated decor, comfortable beds, and good workspaces, while the lobby and shared areas are bright and welcoming. Staff were attentive and friendly, and service went smoothly. The location is convenient for downtown and the highways. I’d recommend it for either work or leisure.

The staff made check-in easy, and they let us switch rooms for an extra night without any trouble. That kind of flexibility was appreciated. The room was comfortable, and the TV let me connect my phone for Netflix, YouTube, Pandora, or Bluetooth, with a digital remote on the phone. I tried the pool even though I don’t usually use pools. It was empty and peaceful, with clean facilities, plenty of towels and seating, and a nice hot tub. The area just outside the hotel felt a little sketchy, though the nighttime parking lot security was reassuring. Nothing happened, but I felt less comfortable once off the property. The main hassle was getting a luggage cart. We waited a few hours, and I only saw about two carts for a hotel with that many people. We managed, and it wouldn’t keep me from coming back. Thanks!
