Sybaris Pool Suites Indianapolis

Check-in was super easy. I did about 90% of it over the phone, so we just walked in, gave our name, and got the parking tag and room key. We got a last-minute $100 off the room, and it looked just like the pictures. It was very clean, and the pool was perfectly warm. My husband and I had a quiet, peaceful, romantic time away from everyone and everything. Our reservation wasi from 6pm-11am, and we paid another $100 to extend checkout from 11am to 3pm. We figure we'll make this getaway once or twice a year.

The private time together was the best part, and the warm pool with its working waterfall made the suite feel inviting. We stayed in Suite 5, the Majestic Suite, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. There was plenty to do in the large room, plus a microwave, mini refrigerator with ice, coffee maker, and robes. Flower petals can be arranged on the bed for an extra cost if you ask, which is a nice touch. The whirlpool was the letdown. It had grime all over it even after we cleaned it three times, and the jets barely did anything, so it felt like a warm bath. The shower head was grimy too, and the water pressure was so low it was hard to enjoy a shower. The massage chair was tiny and barely felt like it was meant for an adult. Check-in went smoothly after we completed the pre-check-in. The location felt a little uneasy, tucked off a busy road that looks run down. It was our first time at Sybaris, and we did enjoy ourselves. We’d like to try another location sometime.

The room and amenities were perfect, and the pool and spa were sensational. Everything about the facility felt five-star. The love basket I ordered was missing several things: no robes because they said they were out, no bottle of cider, and no game. My wife wanted me to bring it up, but we had buried our 27-year-old son six days earlier after an overdose, and I just didn’t have the fight left in me.

The star lights over the bed, the colorful fireplace, and the waterfall by the pool made the room feel beautiful. We stayed in the newly renovated Paradise Room, and the pool, tub, sauna, and showers were all very clean. Service was excellent too. Such a great stay, and I’d definitely come back.
