Bed bugs and cockroaches were both there. My kids had to wear shoes anytime they got out of bed because otherwise their feet were completely filthy. The pool had things floating in it, the AC didn’t work, and the shower temperature kept fluctuating instead of reaching what you wanted. The rules and prices changed every other day. Two women at the front desk were helpful, but that was it. The people running this hotel don’t seem to know what they’re doing. This place needs to be shut down.

Mike at the desk was polite and kind, and helped me get the room I wanted. The location is fairly close to downtown, which I liked. There’s still work to be done on the room, but it was a good enough place for the night.

It’s a convenient five-mile drive to the ICC, and our room was clean once we finally got into it. The front desk guy was helpful and did what he could under the circumstances. The place was overbooked, and he said some people had been checked out by mistake. He scrambled to find us a room, but it took more than 20 minutes and two occupied rooms before we got one. Even with that, I’d stay far away. The management was unacceptable and the atmosphere uncomfortable. People were loitering, and we later learned that some people living at the hotel were likely drug addicts. One night we came back and found a door propped open by someone we assumed was an owner. He was watching it, but there’s no telling who he might have let in. I wouldn’t stay here alone or with small children. Some of the people staying there seemed questionable. We won’t be back.

The front desk staff were very nice and helpful, and I want to stress that. The room had a decent amount of space, plus a microwave and fridge. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable, and the bathroom wasn’t very clean. The neighborhood felt shady, with people just hanging around outside.
