Days Inn by Wyndham Los Angeles LAX Airport/Stadium Area

The receptionist was really nice and efficient, and check-in took under three minutes since I’d prepaid online. I only needed my ID or passport, with no deposit or card required. I got to rest, and there were plenty of good channels, including Nickelodeon. The king rooms have balconies. Cleaning is clearly a priority here; the bleach smell didn’t bother me, and I let it out through the balcony door. Other guests may be less understanding, though. Days INN, keep up the good service and accommodations, and don’t give people a reason to complain.

There’s a bus stop right outside, and it gets you to the beach quickly. The hotel is in a convenient spot, though the surrounding area isn’t especially fancy. My room was comfortable and as expected, and the price was reasonable. Breakfast is pretty minimal, so don’t count on a filling meal.

I’ve stayed here plenty of times, and it’s usually clean and quiet, with friendly staff and no bugs. This time, though, I’d paid for two beds and was put in a one-bed room with my family of five. I contacted customer service and spoke to the front desk, but it didn’t seem like anyone cared. I left early and checked out without staying the full two days.

The outside had me expecting worse, but the room was clean and had been renovated enough to feel nice. I only noticed a slight smoke smell at first, and it cleared after I left the door open for five minutes. For a quick stay near LAX, the quality was a pleasant surprise for the price.
