Fairfield Inn & Suites Jackson

The lobby staff were kind and always available, and the cleaning crew was on top of things, thanks! The rooms are nicely decorated, the bed and sheets were great, and all the appliances and electrical stuff worked well. The shower ceiling was a little torn and cracked, though. Still, the shower looked so clean and nice that I would've risked using it if we were staying longer. Definitely coming back. 4.75 💕

The room was satisfactory, and so was breakfast, although they ran out of paper plates. We used cereal bowls instead, which was fine. We stayed one night while passing through the area. A very professional young woman checked us in, and I wish I'd gotten her name because she was exceptional. I'd gladly recommend the hotel and stay again if I'm in the area.

Angela at the front desk was so sweet and helpful, always smiling. She made our stay really pleasant. I hope she's paid well, and we'll be back on our next trip!

After an 11-hour drive, I arrived and wasn't let in because I was told I had no reservation. I'd left my phone in the truck and really needed the restroom. I felt like I was facing racist hatred. I went back to the truck for my phone, and then she said she hadn't heard me. She asked for my ID, then said the computer needed to boot up. I wondered how she could've checked anything before that. My digital key came up before she could find my information, and I asked for my ID back. She said she hadn't meant to offend me. I asked what else I was supposed to think when she locked me out in the windy, cold morning. If you're scared, go to church! I've never felt so insulted. There was no apology or recognition of who I was, just an attitude that made me feel I was wrong for being a ginger in Tennessee.
