Quality Inn Jackson Northwest

Jackson is a good location for food and shopping, but that's about it. The room was decent, though it didn't feel clean when we arrived. Then I spotted dried yellow urine and what looked like a pubic hair on the toilet seat, and after that I didn't want to stay. The tiny fridge barely fit our water and bag of dog food, and the bed's metal base banged annoyingly whenever we sat down or moved. The young man at check-in acted like I was interrupting his personal time instead of him doing his job. He didn't explain where the room was, where to find things like ice, or when breakfast was served. The gentleman at checkout was kind and courteous, but aside from him it was a bad experience. I wouldn't stay here again.

The location was great, right off the interstate, so it was easy to find and convenient for travel. Check-in was slow: we waited about 10 minutes in the lobby, rang the bell, and called the hotel, but nobody answered until someone finally showed up. Once in the room, we found it clean and comfortable. I liked the firm bed, though my husband didn't. My only room complaint was how small the pillows were, especially for a king-size bed.

Christy at the front desk really went out of her way to help us during our stop on the way to Nashville. The room was comfortable, clean, and remodeled, though the paint prep and patching could've been better. We felt safe, and we'd happily stay again. One of the nicest Choice properties we've visited.

The bathroom floor was filthy, there were crumbs on the nightstand, and the sheets, blankets, and towels were dirty. The toilet didn't work, and the mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. Breakfast wasn't any better, the cooked waffles tasted sour, like they were spoiled. This is the dirtiest Choice hotel I've stayed at, and I wouldn't return. There are plenty of other hotels for about $25 more.
