We picked this place for an easy overnight before heading to Kirkwood the next morning. The room was clean and looked recently renovated, and dogs were allowed for an extra $25. There weren't many guests, so I don't know why a family with hyperactive kids was put above us several hours after we checked in. The smoke alarm was missing, which seems like an issue, and the AC/heater clicked all night. A burn pit out back was still smoldering and smoked through our whole stay.

The breakfast was very good, with a nice range of fresh options to start the day. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful from check-in through checkout, and made everything feel comfortable and stress-free. I had a great stay, the experience was better than I expected, and I'd happily recommend this hotel. I'd definitely stay again.

For our group of three adults, the suite worked perfectly: it had either two queen beds or one king plus a double bed in a separate nook. We wanted a simple overnight before skiing at Kirkwood the next weekday morning, and this place suited us just right. The rate was very, very reasonable for what we needed. The manager/front desk person was friendly when we arrived to check in at 10 p.m. Free breakfast was a bonus. It was continental, but had the basics, including fruit and a hot waffle maker. I knew that going in and brought my own hard-boiled eggs for protein.

The furniture looked badly worn, and both the bed and sofa were old and noticeably saggy, making the room feel run-down. There were large stains on the carpet, a strong moldy smell as soon as I walked in, and a worn, used sock left on the floor when I arrived, as shown in my photos. Even the bathroom toilet paper roll was almost empty at check-in. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this felt dirty and poorly maintained. It wasn't acceptable, and I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The people were very nice, and they made up my room and bed the same evening after I asked for it to be cleaned while I was out. They do seem to care about their guests. Breakfast was free each morning, though I wish they'd served bacon or sausage with the eggs and waffles. One morning I slept in and got a late start.
