I paid for five days, and on the second day a guy knocked once and then barged in as if he didn't know I was there. The room was filthy: there was leftover food in the fridge, no soap for the shower, no hot water, and the toilet paper was gone. There wasn't a coffee maker or a chair for the desk. Only one outlet worked, so I had to unplug the microwave to charge my phone. The shower towels were old and dirty, like they hadn't been washed in months. It might cost only $50 a night, but it isn't worth it. This place is disgusting.

During our first stay with Choice Hotels, my husband and I found problems that hadn't been disclosed. An industrial washing machine was broken and sitting in the usual countertop area for the continental breakfast, and the vending machines listed in the room weren't there. We returned our key and told the manager we were leaving immediately, but he never officially checked us out or processed our departure correctly. I suspect he was trying to hide from the company that guests weren't staying for their full bookings, perhaps to cover operational or staffing issues. When I contacted customer support, Shane gave me the same generic response about looking into it and forwarding it to the property manager, and told me I was still checked in. I don't think sending the complaint to management will fix anything, and that response makes me think there is little intent to address the problems. I also contacted the local health department and shared photos as evidence of the unsanitary conditions. The hygiene issues were especially troubling. We found blood stains on sheets that clearly hadn't been changed or properly cleaned, and there were stained, soiled towels in the bathroom. I regret not reading reviews more carefully beforehand, since others had raised concerns about bed cleanliness and a disturbing incident where a napkin was stuffed into a door peephole. Reviews from early 2024 also described recurring problems, suggesting little has changed over time. Earlier I read numerous reviews about The Establishment and came to believe that neither they nor your company would take meaningful action on maintenance or hire dedicated, professional maintenance staff. I won't consider any Choice Hotels in the future. This experience showed a troubling pattern of neglect and disregard for guest safety and comfort. You're welcome to share my feedback, though I doubt it will make a difference. I hope this warns potential guests and makes clear that proper management and standard maintenance are urgently needed. Have a nice day.

I booked online the day before and called ahead to say I'd arrive after 10 p.m. They said that was fine, but when I showed up around 10:45 the next night, two people just stared at me until I asked for help. It took the guy about 15 minutes to choose a room because only two were left: one had a double bed, though I'd paid for a single, and the single wasn't clean. There were two bags of trash outside the room, which I put in the nearby dumpster. Inside, it smelled odd, the curtain was on the bed instead of the window, the tub and shower were rusty and water-damaged, flies kept appearing, and the TV had no service at all. I was exhausted and only there one night, or I would have left. I'll NEVER go back. Reviews should let you give zero stars.

We booked for two nights, but left after the band started up again at 3 p.m. and people brought out the beer. The first night, the room smelled bad, then construction workers came in and drank while a band played outside our window, one room over. They smoked weed from a bong on our windowsill, so our room smelled of it most of the night. It went on until almost 2 a.m. The next morning there was a guy passed out on the lobby couch with a beer can still in his hand. We asked for our money back and got out. This hotel gets -0.

The room hadn't been cleaned when I arrived. The bathroom had a half-used bar of soap and an unflushed toilet. Staff were hard to get to the desk, and confusion led them to check me out a day early and take the food and pop I'd left in the room. For three nights in a row, someone blasted music at 2 a.m., and there were several knocks on my door through the night. The place looked rough outside, with clothes and shoes hanging out of windows, and there was no truck parking. They had only a coffee bar, no breakfast. My room was messy, had no TV service, and although the AC worked, a gap in the wall let bugs in all night.
