Super 8 Jackson

For a Super 8, this place was great. I stayed two separate nights, and each time the room was clean, everything worked, and the bathroom had no holes or cracks in the walls. The shower and tub fixtures, toilet, and sink were all really nice. The location worked fine for our interstate trip, even though it’s at a large, unattractive intersection. Both times, the complimentary breakfast had plenty: yogurt, apples, tea and coffee, and a Gene Simmons fresh waffle-maker. Jason at the desk is a cool dude.

Jason greeted us warmly when he checked us in. The general manager was there in the morning, too, making sure breakfast and checkout went smoothly. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name. It’s a modest property, but clean, fairly priced, and a good place to stay.

We found this place while looking for somewhere we could park our RV. We’d planned to stay at an RV park on our trip from Kentucky to Texas, but they said the park hadn’t been plowed because the secondary roads were still in bad shape. The parking lot here was slippery, but we managed to park our RV close to the room. Our room was clean and quiet despite being close to the freeway. There were also several restaurants nearby.

The room was clean, which I really appreciated, and the staff were so kind and helpful. The room was okay for the price, but the beds were far too hard, which was the biggest disappointment.
