Best Western Jacksonville near Little Rock Air Force Base

The price for my two-night stay was reasonable, and parking was ample, with marked accessible spaces. There’s a fridge and microwave in the room, Walmart nearby, and a Mexican restaurant close as well. Clinton Little Rock Airport is about 20 minutes away. I didn’t try the included breakfast, so I can’t comment on it. I’d stayed here a few years ago, and there haven’t been any updates. The place needs a makeover. The tub is very high, so be careful getting in and out. Toiletries were sparse: a tiny bar of soap and a small conditioner bottle, but no shampoo. There was no tissue in my room, and towels were provided for only two people, though I imagine you could ask for more. I found out the day desk clerk also works the overnight desk, but I won’t elaborate.

The quiet and very comfortable bed were the only good parts. My room at Best Western in Jacksonville smelled stale, and the Wi-Fi never connected during my stay, so I had to use my hotspot. I’d booked a room with a jacuzzi tub, but it was disgusting, with hair and dead skin still in it. It didn’t look properly cleaned or sanitized. Everything else needs work.

I’d give it two stars just because it’s close to base. I came to town for a baby shower and was hugely disappointed. Before we arrived, the woman on the phone was rude and condescending, and kept interrupting me. We got to room 130 at 11:30 at night, and it smelled, as my husband put it, like someone had been microwaving week-old fish. The bed was rock hard, and the pillows wouldn’t even be standard size for a twin bed. The bathtub was disgusting. When I checked out the next morning, I told the man at the front desk about the smell. They already knew that room smelled and what it smelled like. That’s unacceptable. 10/10 do not recommend.

The room was very clean and quiet, and checking in with a reservation took just seconds. There’s breakfast, it’s pet friendly, and the restaurant next door was good. Walmart is two minutes down the road. I hadn’t known about the $50 deposit ahead of time, but that’s okay, at least now you know. I’m satisfied.
