Developer Inn & Suites Airport JAX, a Baymont by Wyndham

There wasn't any breakfast at all, and I wouldn't recommend this place or come back if we're passing through again. We booked a suite at least a month ahead, but when we arrived the desk clerk said the suites had somehow been overbooked and offered us two adjoining rooms instead. The parking lot looked nearly empty. We used only one room because I wasn't comfortable having the kids sleep next door when they're still young. The rooms didn't actually have doors connecting them.

The floors were dirty as soon as we walked in, and the walls had things and hair stuck to them. The sheets and blankets were gross, and we didn't even want to touch the ice bucket. When we asked for clean bedding, they said there wasn't any and they barely had enough for the rooms as it was. I had to go out and buy a blanket of my own. The pool stayed locked the whole time for no apparent reason. At check-in, the woman hit her vape right in front of me while her kid ran around. The room phone wasn't plugged in, and there wasn't even a cord to connect it if we'd needed to call for anything. Breakfast was subpar: wet eggs and gross pepper on the potatoes. They don't seem to care about travelers at all. This was one of my worst hotel experiences. I took photos to show the dirt. I wouldn't recommend the place at any price, not even for what it costs. I usually look for cheap, decent places, and the reviews seemed okay, but they just weren't accurate. If I could give half a star, I honestly would.

That breakfast was DELICIOUS, honestly the best combination I've had since I started driving OTR for work. I'd know where to stop again if I'm in Florida line l. The front desk lady was friendly, knew her stuff, and was amazing. After a bad booking at this Econolodge in Homestead FL, this place felt like a breath of fresh air. So clean, I could imagine living here all year hahaha. Check-in tip if you've already reserved: scan the QR code in the lobby by the entrance door to speed things up. Just WOW!!!

The bedding was clean and the bed was average, with a mini fridge and microwave in the room. But there weren't any full-size towels, so I had to use a hand towel. The lobby was clean and check-in staff were great. The location seemed okay, though I felt a little unsure about safety. Outside and in the room, things weren't so good. Overflowing trash on the way to the room and a dirty sidewalk tracked dirt inside. The floors left dirt on my bag and feet, and cleaning seemed minimal. Some flooring and the sink area looked updated, but there were dead ants on the walls, little flying bugs in the room, and I killed two spiders. I wouldn't book again.
