Quality Inn Orange Park Jacksonville

Everything was convenient, with lots of places nearby. I found a Nothing Bundt cake and a Publix, plus plenty more. The hotel was clean inside and out, even the ground was clear of cigarette butts, and you could see maintenance cleaning in the morning. It was quiet and free of drama, and all the workers were wonderful, especially the front desk lady. I left my whole purse behind, and she quickly helped me get back into my room. I'll be back!

We asked for a smoke-free room, but ours reeked. There were dead roaches, stained sheets, and a broken door latch when we checked in. We requested a refund, and the front desk staff were helpful, but the place felt unclean and unsafe overall.

I paid $89.67 for a room at this Quality Inn on Youngerman Circle on 12/30/2025. Check-in was easy, and we were in room 151. Then we found a cockroach on the bed and more roaches in the bathroom. The room smelled old, the curtains were badly stained, and the microwave looked so questionable I wondered if heating anything in it would give us radiation poisoning. At 3 am, a strange woman knocked on our door. She left, then came back with a man, and they knocked again asking for money. We waited a few minutes and decided the safest thing was to leave. We asked for a hard copy of the receipt, but were told that wasn't possible until the night audit was done. I hope management reads this.

There were lots of bed bugs in the room, I think it was 231 or one nearby. My girlfriend and kids went in, and she always checks the beds. They left right away and went to the front desk. The man there said he couldn't do anything because she'd booked through Booking.com. He wouldn't check the room or agree to tell Booking.com so she could get a refund. He wanted them to stay in that room or move to another one. Now she's out almost $400 and they won't refund her. Don't stay here.
