This worked well for an extended stay, and I’d come back. The staff are really nice, parking was easy and affordable, and there are several good restaurants and bars within walking distance. The free breakfast was about what you’d expect, but better than at most extended stay hotels I’ve tried. The gym is well equipped. The pool was closed while I was there, though it looked fine.

The staff were pleasant and hospitable, and the rooms were clean, nice, and had comfortable beds. Reaching the hotel was a bit of an adventure because the roads and intersections are very narrow. The area seems to be in a revitalization phase, with some rundown, abandoned buildings alongside new development and redevelopment.

Our two-room unit was really comfortable, and the hotel looks almost new and is in excellent shape. Breakfast was complimentary and above average. Parking cost $12 plus tax, which didn’t bother us. The nearby neighborhood seemed a bit dodgy, but we had no problems.

The hotel was clean and secure, and our room was huge and felt new. Parking was free. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels and usually don’t get excited about them, but this one was great. I lived in Jacksonville for years and was visiting again, and ran into Theo Von while he was doing a few shows that weekend. There’s a lot to see and plenty of food nearby. One side is really nice, with restaurants and a great area to walk around. The other side has abandoned buildings and lots of homeless people, and feels pretty rough. Stick to the side toward the water.

For one night, it was just right: the room was clean, staff were very helpful, and breakfast was decent and included in the price. It felt like good value. The location was okay, though I didn’t care much for the atmosphere around it.
