Rodeway Inn

Our first attempt to reach the hotel was tricky. If you miss the turn onto the airport road, you can end up circling exits and traffic lights around a big shopping complex and Walmart. We could see the hotel but struggled to get there the first time. That's on me and maybe my GPS, though late at night or in the dark, the route could be frustrating if you're not used to that traffic. Take it slowly and check the route beforehand if that kind of driving makes you uncomfortable. Once we arrived, the stay was comfortable and felt safe. Our room was spacious, the bathroom was large and clean, and we could park right outside our unit. The property was under construction, but it didn't affect us. We booked last minute through bringfido.com because my husband needed to be at JAX at 4:30 a.m. for a flight. There was a problem with my first payment, but a lovely gentleman, I believe he is Giovanny, called and cheerfully helped me sort it out quickly. I met him at check-in. They were kind to our pup, and the pet fee was very reasonable, though I'm not sure if they're always pet-friendly. There was plenty of green space for her. Checking out was just as pleasant. I met a lovely woman I believe is Giovanny's co-operator, though I may be mistaken. Chatting with her got my day off to a great start.

Ilona was so friendly and organized, and I felt really welcome. I had the best experience here. The location is great too, with lots of stores nearby and the airport just around the corner. I'd definitely recommend it!

For the price, the rooms are really big and clean, and the place is great. There's a stove, microwave, fridge, and even a pool. The woman in the office was so nice, helpful, and kind. I'd recommend it.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and every employee we met was so welcoming and treated us exceptionally well. That service made the stay wonderful. There are also several bars, restaurants, and shops within walking distance, which is handy. We knew when we booked that renovations were underway because of the ownership change, so our expectations weren't especially high. The hotel's appearance as you drive by is deceiving; there's a lot of good happening inside. I expect it to get better as the renovations are completed. Definitely don't pass it up.
