Tiffany Roman was great to work with as my agent. She was on time, explained things clearly, and made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free. She also helped after I moved in by answering my rent payment questions and assisting with the referral process. I highly recommend her.

The location and staff are good, the concierge were nice, and my unit had good closet space. But there are serious problems here. They say there’s a 24/7 doorman, yet the doorman leaves at 11pm. There have been several break-ins by homeless people who then slept in hallways or shared spaces. Management’s response has just been emails blaming tenants and acting as if we let visibly homeless people in through the front door. The apartments are very outdated. My unit is old, the cabinets are literally disintegrating, and everything feels worn and poorly maintained. The bedroom vents blow heat or air straight onto you while you sleep, which is uncomfortable all year. The upstairs has central air, but the temperature doesn’t distribute evenly: one bedroom is freezing while another is too hot. That’s especially frustrating with children. The PSEG bill averages $800. The upstairs carpet is hard to keep clean, and the refrigerator is so small it barely fits anything, impossible for more than two people. I’ve also heard nightmare stories about getting the security deposit back. We’ve had weekly housekeepers, and the apartment already had wear and tear when we moved in. It’ll be interesting to see what happens with ours. Negotiating the lease was another headache. They tried to raise it by 10%, even though I know of no one in the building paying anywhere near that much. They took days to answer our emails, but had no trouble harassing us twice a day until we switched renters insurance to a company they preferred. We lived in a KRE building for five years before this, and the difference was night and day.

Tomasz Milewski replaced my hot water heater and did a great job. I’m grateful for his help. He even came back the following day to check that it was all working properly.
