The sink and mirror were outside the bathroom, which was awkward when sharing the room with a roommate. Water pressure was weak at both the sink and shower, the bathroom had one harsh white light that still left it dim, and there was no fan to clear the air. We also kept smelling cigarette smoke from a neighboring room. Breakfast ran only from 6 to 9 a.m. and was over too early. The room was clean, the complimentary items were provided, and service was pleasant, but for what we paid, I probably wouldn’t return.

Room 424’s air conditioner is so loud, OMG. The shower had a little mold, so bring Clorox mold and mildew cleaner. The beds were okay and comfy, breakfast was decent, and the building was kept really clean. Tight but right, you get enough for your money. I’d stay again.

There were roaches, and we killed at least four. That alone means we won’t stay again. The room was only kind of clean, and the person at the front desk seemed interested in nothing but rushing us through check-in. Coffee wasn’t put out until 7 a.m. Breakfast was poor, with scrambled eggs and waffles as the only choices and no meat.

For a short stay when saving money matters, the price is just about fair, but I wouldn’t make this my first choice. Customer service was exceptional and I enjoyed the stay, though the room raised questions. It looked clean at first, but I noticed questionable stains on the bedspread. The shower showed wear and signs of repairs that weren’t done very well. It still had decent water pressure, though. I’d rate it around 6.8 or 6.9 out of 10.
