My AC went out, and I needed somewhere cheap late at night. I shouldn’t have chosen this place. The first room smelled of stale cigarettes. My 3-year-old said, “Eww, this stinks, Mommy.” I called the desk, and they told me to come up for a different room. My baby girl and I went to the second room, and it smelled like a dirty urinal, pure piss. The comforter was still wet from whatever spray they’d used to cover the smell. I called right away to ask for a refund, and they said yes and told me to come to the front. When I explained the awful smell and wet cover, the man said it was probably the spray. No, that was a dirty piss smell. The staff were very friendly and gave me the refund without any trouble, but I’d never return or recommend this place.

For a budget motel near the Interstate, it was quiet, in a safe location, and close to restaurants and attractions. The room was clean and well lit. My only complaint was that the sink water was hot but the shower was cold. I’d definitely stay again.

My boyfriend and I came to stay the night with my friend for her birthday. The front desk lady accused us of wanting to have sex in the room and said next time our parents would have to come down and sign off. We told her we don’t live with our parents and aren’t in contact with them. She said someone over 25 would need to be there next time because of the “noises” 18-year-olds make.

We needed a hotel under $100 while traveling with our dog. Making the reservation and checking in were quick and easy, but somehow all they had left was a smoking room, and nobody told me. It smelled like weed, which I mentioned to the desk guy. There were at least ten burn marks on the tub and several on the sheets and top cover, though the cotton sheets were clean. The cable worked, and the water was good and hot with strong pressure. Some people might not feel safe here, while others may be okay with it. Next road trip, I’ll camp with our pup instead. I don’t need sketchy, and I plan to move my truck bed stuff into the cab.
