Wyndham Grand Jupiter at Harbourside Place

I’ve stayed at Wyndham Grand Jupiter many times for work over the past 18 months. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff have always been welcoming and professional. Carlene Garver deserves a special mention for being courteous and helpful. The valet, front desk, and room service teams were all lovely. I had the best burger, and I’ll definitely be back. I chose this as a special treat, since it costs quite a bit more than the popular chain hotels nearby. It’s been years since I visited Jupiter Harbourside, and a lot has changed. Many shops were vacant and things felt quiet during my weekday visit, though weekends might be livelier. Street parking is free, and the multilevel garages are handy. I self-parked across from the hotel. Ask to link your room key to the garage so the daily fee goes to your room, and you can use the key to enter and leave. Aziz was friendly at check-in, and I got the upgrade I’d chosen. The room was huge and nicely decorated, with a waterfront view, two balconies, large windows, and a very comfortable bed. I also liked the specialty coffee from the convenient lobby coffee lounge. The sitting room was dim, with no light over the dining area, so it felt uninviting and wasn’t a good place to work. The balcony door locks were broken, which would have worried me more if the room had been in another area. At over $500 a night, I expected housekeeping to replace bathroom supplies like mouthwash and hand lotion daily. They gave me a tiny mouthwash bottle at check-in, but it had clearly been opened and used by previous guests. Gross. There are lots of places to eat at Harbourside shops. I really enjoyed Calaveras Cantina and Subculture Coffee. I’m not sure I’d stay at the Wyndam Grand Jupiter again. Given the price difference and my experience, I’d probably choose somewhere else as a solo traveler.

Sharelle at the front desk made us feel like guests in a family member’s home. She’s a gem, and this Wyndham has become one of our favorite places to stay in Jupiter. The whole staff is friendly, professional, and attentive. Being able to walk to restaurants, cafes, and shops, with a gorgeous view, is a great bonus.

For $750 a night, this was the worst. We had to bring in our own luggage, and the check-in counter wasn’t even a proper counter. They don’t seem to know what service means. The rooftop pool they told me about was dead, and the main lobby bar was empty. My drink was a disaster too. I asked for a sea breeze, but got a bay breeze because they said they had no grapefruit juice. There’s nowhere to go here. The Wyndham Grand needs a lot of help. Other hotels nearby are much cheaper and have more amenities. What a waste of money. This place shouldn’t even get one star. Go somewhere else!
