Hampton Inn Kansas City Southeast, Mo

After the first night, the service turned awful. We found the staff rude and racist, which was upsetting, especially since my wife had recently had neck surgery and we just wanted a clean place with nice people. The first day, they said we were making too much noise and called the police, but the officers found no noise problem. Staff continued to accuse us anyway. The next day, while we were all out celebrating a birthday, they called to say there had been another noise complaint and we had to leave. Nobody from our group was in the room then. When I asked them to check the security cameras, they refused and got confrontational. My brother-in-law was kicked out while trying to explain that the room was empty when the complaint supposedly happened. We had to leave without a refund. We always stay at Hilton when traveling, but I won’t stay at this place again. It was horrible.

Digital check-in was great after a long drive, since I could go straight to the room instead of waiting at the desk. The staff were friendly and thoughtful, and gave me a couple of extra towels without any fuss. We were in town for a Chiefs game, and this was a good mix of price and convenience, just 7 miles from the stadium on the highway and much cheaper than hotels by the stadium. The room was spacious and clean with no smells, and there was room for the dogs to stretch out. It had a fridge, microwave, desk, and sofa. The bathroom seemed to use materials that would hold up well, and the water pressure was good with no smell. There was also a spacious cafe and breakfast area.

The place was cozy and very clean, and I didn’t run into any problems. Everyone on staff I met was friendly and accommodating. I’ll stay here again when I’m back.

We were in town for a wedding and had a wonderful stay at Hampton Inn Kansas City Southeast. Our plans changed at the last minute, and Ahlarrah made sure everything went smoothly. She was kind, professional, and went out of her way to help. We’ll definitely return when we’re in the area.
