The last minute check-in was helpful because all the other local hotels were fully booked, which is why I gave two stars. But they charged $360 a night, which was unreasonable. Our room had a refrigerator in pieces that didn’t work, a dead roach, and a damp or moldy patch on a wall that was partly hidden by furniture but still obvious in the photos. When we tried to sort it out, customer service was poor and they refused to help, saying the issues were because they were “remodeling.” Maybe they were, since the rest of the hotel didn’t seem bad, but this room shouldn’t have been rented in that condition.

I booked ten days for my son’s wedding, and the building smelled like water damage. The gym mattered to my son and me, but its equipment was broken and nobody had taken care of it. The laundry room didn’t work either, so they sent me across the street to their other facility. Its machines were dirty and outside, and I didn’t want to put my clothes in them. Breakfast was hard boiled eggs, toast, and stale cold cereal every day. The only good item was the homemade waffles, and the coffee was watered down. Our room TV didn’t work.

The room was clean enough, the hot water had excellent pressure, and the AC worked well. It was at a good temperature when I arrived. The beds sagged a bit, but the sheets and pillows were decent. The room showed some wear. I had to ask for a hair dryer, then walk to another building to get it. There was an ice bucket but no cups, and no coffee maker. There was a small microwave and mini refrigerator. The blanket was very flimsy, with no duvet or comforter.

Bring earplugs. The highway is right nearby, and you can hear it from inside the room. It’s a cheap room with minimal cleaning, almost like a motel. Breakfast is free, but it sucks.
