I come to Kearney monthly to see friends and watch hockey. This usually wouldn’t be my first choice, and I’ll admit I’d judged it by the outside. From a distance it looks kind of gloomy and uninviting, but inside the atmosphere is completely different. Aaron at the front desk was really polite and friendly when I checked in. My room was clean and had plenty of bedding, toiletries, and everything else I needed. The beds were comfortable and didn’t smell, and the lobby and hallways smelled pleasant too. Being pet friendly is a huge plus since I travel with my pit bull, Buddha. There are lots of places to eat, shop, and even a cinema nearby. I’d stay again.

There’s truck and RV parking right out front, and the hotel is pet friendly. The room was spacious, clean, and updated. I always check hotel mattresses, and this one had an enclosed cover. Breakfast was free and hot, with waffles, sausage and gravy, yogurt, fruit, coffee, and juices. Several fast food places are within walking distance, and Perkins is right next door. Don’t let the exterior put you off.

Nik, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me and my family when we were stranded and needed somewhere to stay. You gave us a comfortable, clean room and were so kind. I wish I could see you every day to thank you. This hotel accommodated me and my three children when no one else would. The rooms and bedding were clean, and the beds were comfy. I loved the whole experience and ended up staying longer because I felt so comfortable. I recommend it to anyone, five stars. Keep up the good work.

Holly and Joe were so friendly, and we had no issues with our rooms. Everything stayed clean during our visit, and breakfast had a good range of choices. I’d definitely recommend staying at the Baymont.
