New in early 2025, the hotel was clean, in a great location, easy to reach, and quiet. It's close to a lot, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are a bit small, but they worked well for a short stay. I loved the hard flooring instead of carpet. The walls are thin, though, and conversations carried through the bathroom vents. The shower kept dripping long after it was turned off. Breakfast had lots of choices, though it wasn't the best I've had. The scrambled eggs weren't great, and I wasn't keen on the potato seasoning. The biscuit and gravy was good. There was possibly a vanilla bean waffle, which was different, while the pancake was average. They also had oatmeal, yogurt, different sausage patties, and sliced cheeses. Nice hotel, and I'd stay again.

We slept on the third floor and could hear people walking above us, along with noise coming through the walls on both sides. A car alarm also woke us in the middle of the night, though that wasn't TRU's fault. The lot felt safe and was well lit. The room had a large TV, mini fridge, iron, and hair dryer. The bed was comfortable, the bathrooms were super clean, and breakfast had plenty of options. It's a new, immaculate hotel in a convenient location, and the staff were polite. We didn't use the pool. We'd come again, but would ask for the fourth floor and, if there was availability, a room without guests next door.

The only thing we didn't like was the bathroom soap dispensers. Someone didn't quite think those through. Otherwise, it was a great stay for the price. There's even a play area with a pool table and other things. The newer hotel was very clean, and the front desk woman was super friendly when we checked in. She was still working in the morning and did a great job being friendly, even though she was probably tired. Breakfast had lots of options, including really good biscuits and gravy.

The Christmas decorations were beautiful, and after I got back, I received handwritten thank-you notes addressed personally to me. The rooms were comfortable, the location was great, and the staff were superb. A wonderful hotel.
