The room was nice and clean, and we loved being able to step straight onto the beach from this oceanfront hotel. Breakfast was included and the staff there were great. At the front desk, we were greeted warmly, and the person there knew which restaurants were open when we asked, even though many close this time of year. It felt clean, safe, and friendly, which seems rare these days. They also welcome dogs. This was our first visit to this Comfort Inn, and we plan to book again soon.

Everyone on staff was as nice as could be, and housekeeping was phenomenal. We enjoyed our stay at Comfort Inn on the beach and plan to return next year. The only problem was that my fiancée slipped on the pool ladder and injured her leg.

Having a pet-friendly place close to home was a real plus. The rate was reasonable, our room was just right, and the employees were friendly, professional, and ready to help.

The lobby bar and grill was handy when we wanted food or a drink without going far. The hotel is huge and right on the beach, and its central spot in the OBX made it easy to get around.

The room service was decent, and the location was okay, but the rates felt high for a dated hotel. Sand and hair clogged the tubs, and wind made a loud noise at night because the balcony doors didn't close all the way. At check-in, the front desk woman gave us the wrong room and parking pass. I had to ask for both to be corrected. The breakfast attendant, whose name I think was shon, was rude and started clearing everything away 30 minutes before breakfast ended.
