Executive Inn Suites

These apartments are mediocre, way overpriced, and they won't fix anything. I've been needing a fridge since April.

We decided to leave and ask for a refund because the evening desk clerk was rude and wouldn't give us a second washcloth or a large towel. Two people had to share one towel. When we accidentally dropped that towel in the mud on our way back to the room, the clerk still refused to replace it and called the police after we asked for our money back. The room had a hole in the shower floor, an insecure door, a hard bed, a blanket with cigarette burns, and a cigarette-butt smell. There were two people in the lobby who appeared to be tweaking, and I felt the place was full of drug addicts. I would never recommend staying here. It needs a building inspector to check the violations I saw.

This is more of a one-night-stop kind of place, and I wouldn't recommend it for a family. The room was tiny and pretty gross, and our TV didn't work. Priceline showed $36 a night, but the owner charged me $50 because of an “extra” kid. No refunds at all. The Black guy working nights was amazing, though the owners weren't.

I booked a room online, but when I arrived the owner said it was already booked. He offered a more expensive room, which I turned down, then a cheaper one that was decent. After I signed the papers, he told me guests couldn't come to the room until after 9. We were from out of town, had arrived in Killeen at 8, and wanted friends to visit for a few hours. When I explained that, he went from Dr.Jekyall to Mr. Hyde and started screaming at me, turning red. His wife tried to calm him, but he told her to shut up. I asked for a refund and he said he'd give me one, still yelling. Then he refused to give me a copy of the refund receipt and called the police. While we waited, he screamed in my face and bumped into me as he tried to get me out the door. I kept saying I just wanted proof of the refund and would leave, but he carried on. His poor wife just sat there looking afraid. The police who arrived were very nice. After I explained it was all over a receipt, they asked the owner to give me a copy; he agreed, and an officer handed it to me. I told them I'd been asking for 20 minutes and would have left as soon as he gave it to me. The officers escorted us out and said the guy had a bad attitude and a stick up his butt. Calling the police over a receipt request was unbelievable. The place was run down and sketchy too. Next time I'll save myself the stress and stay at a nice hotel. Avoid it.
