The room was small, a bit dirty, and had a lumpy bed, but that's about what I expected for $40. The cinder block walls made it very quiet. The shower was hot with strong pressure, and the air conditioner was decent. It had what I needed.

There's no table in the room, so I can't get anything done.

The manager was kind to both me and my mother, and checked on how she was doing whenever I saw him. He also let me pay a little late on both occasions I needed to make a payment, which made the stay nicer than I expected. We needed a hotel for two weeks on a tight budget, so we chose the Lido. It was sketchy, a bit scary, and definitely dirty. You get what you pay for.

There was no WiFi or internet, and management seemed poor, with rules being broken. My small room and vanity weren't accessible for someone with a disability. The AC unit was small, badly installed, and didn't work well. There was duct tape on it for some reason Neel, the landlord, didn't explain, and duct tape was also holding up the small bathroom window. I was nearly broken into. The neighborhood was relatively chill and the neighbors were decent. The room was cheap, and the TV, bathroom, outlets, and door locks all worked. The water was warm, the bed was large enough for three if needed, and most things seemed up to date. No roaches or other critters, just gnats coming in through the broken window.

The owner was nice and accommodating, and the people outside were polite. It wasn't noisy. The room was outdated but clean, with a mini fridge, cold AC, warm showers, a microwave, and a TV with HBO and other channels. The beds were very comfortable, though the bugs were bad. You get what you pay for, and it's a cheap place to stay.
