Best Western Knoxville Suites - Downtown

The room was comfortable, with a couch, carpet, and a comfy bed, plus a coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. It’s pet friendly, and the service was good. I liked the hot tub, though the pool was cold. The gym equipment was okay, but not very good.

The staff were very helpful and moved me to another room when I pointed things out. It was clean enough, but the photos online are heavily edited, and the place feels old and dated. There were stains on the bedsheets. I was glad I only stayed one night.

The customer service was excellent, and so were the accommodations, cleanliness, and breakfast choices. Just be aware that although it’s advertised as downtown, the motel is nowhere near downtown. It was also hard to find in the dark, and the main road needs better signage.

The indoor heated pool and hot tub were especially nice while it was snowing and windy, and breakfast had plenty to choose from: cereal, waffles, yogurt, muffins, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and eggs. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, and the evening desk attendant was very friendly. I did notice a couple of ants the first night. The following night, ants got into the ice bucket, and I woke to dozens in a cup that wasn’t even near it. I mentioned it to the desk attendant at breakfast, and she moved me to another room just a few doors away.
