Courtyard Knoxville West/Bearden

We loved being able to walk to plenty of restaurants, and the on-site bistro and bar made it easy to stay in too. We used both on both nights. Out back, the patio and fire pit were a lovely spot for hot cocoa and relaxed chats with friends or family. Free cookies at check-in were a sweet holiday touch. The room was spacious and thoughtfully laid out, with a sleeper couch, roll-out desk, space-saving cabinets, fridge, and microwave. The lobby felt open and inviting, and the bistro service area was attentive. The pool is open from 6 pm to 11 pm, and the 24-hour gym made it easy to fit in a workout. There's a train nearby, so keep that in mind if you're sensitive to noise. I found it oddly comforting and familiar. Parking was stress-free, with plenty of options on site and nearby. We really enjoyed this comfortable, well-equipped stay.

For a sports trip or a visit with family, check this place out. It's a beautiful property, and the staff work hard to make for a great experience in this post-Covid era of hotel stays. If you're visiting Knoxville, this is the place to stay.

This is a quiet place to stay, so getting a good night's rest isn't a problem. It's a newer property, conveniently close to dining and local attractions, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I always enjoy coming back.

Marriott Hotels are my favorite, but this was a terrible experience. Parking is almost nonexistent. There are only five spots a little way from the front entrance, plus three handicapped spaces. Otherwise, you have to park a literal half mile behind the neighboring building. There's no room service, no bellhop, and nobody offered to help with our bags. The luggage carts are a junky three-wheeled contraption that can barely manage two bags. I've never been this disappointed with Marriott.
