The front desk gentleman was genuinely helpful. When we asked for razors, he brought us both a men's and a women's razor with shaving cream, which we appreciated. We didn't want to keep asking for help after that, since he'd already been so kind. We had to switch rooms because the first one had a strong, bad smell. We found dog food and garbage under the couch, apparently hard for housekeeping to reach because the furniture is so heavy. The second room smelled odd too, and there was different trash under its couch. Finding debris in both rooms made the stay feel unsanitary and disappointing. The hotel should make it easier to clean beneath or inside those couches, either with different furniture or a better checking routine.

After we lasted only an hour at the Baymont Inn & Suites down the road, we came here for the night. This place was clean and comfortable, and I didn't mind sleeping here at all. The staff were super friendly, the bed was comfy, and I had no cleanliness problems. There was a little road noise in my room, but it didn't keep me awake. A lovely stay.

I've stayed here a couple of times for ORAU training, and the full kitchen in the suite is especially handy for a longer visit. The rooms were spotless, the staff were friendly, and there's free breakfast and parking, an outdoor pool, a fitness center, and a basketball court. It's the familiar Residence Inn by Marriott setup, with a comfortable room and useful amenities for work trips. One unexpected highlight was seeing a rowing event nearby. The teams moving together on the calm water, with the natural scenery around them, made for a peaceful and inspiring moment. I'll be glad to return on another business trip, and would recommend it for a longer stay.

Angie made check-in such a nice experience this morning. She found my parents a room that was easy to get to and chose a room number they could remember. The bathrooms are spotless, the location is great, and everyone on staff has been kind and helpful. Stay here when you're in Knoxville!

We arrived late at night on our drive toward smoky mountain np, and the room was already clean and ready. Breakfast was well stocked in the morning, and we had everything we needed before setting off again. The spot near the highway was convenient too.
