Super 8 La Crosse

We liked the atmosphere and the staff, and we'll definitely come back. They let us check in early, were accommodating with our pet, and helped us find a screwdriver for our water gun. They also helped when our room keys stopped working. The pool was amazing and the rooms were updated. The bathrooms are small, and the paint job in mine wasn't the best.

The location was great, and with the weather so cold I was able to warm up in the Jacuzzi by the pool. The rooms are okay, but could use some updating, starting with TVs that have Netflix.

The location and breakfast are fine, and some people who work there are very friendly. I want to clarify that because our experience with the receptionist on duty before our penultimate reservation was terrible. We'd been staying at this hotel since last year whenever we visited the city. When we checked out at 11:30 for the next reservation, the receptionist was super rude and checked my documents. He asked for a $200 deposit, which they'd never asked me for before, and gave us a horrible room unlike any we'd had on earlier visits. The air kept us from sleeping, and we were bitten by some animals in the bed. To the receptionist, I'm sorry if anything I did bothered you.

The facility was very clean, the beds comfortable, and the front desk person courteous, so check-in was easy. There's a handy coffee station and Laundry Room near the Guest Rooms, Pool, Fitness Center, and Continental Breakfast. A good fit for either business or pleasure.
