Gateway Inn

A really clean and comfortable overnight stay, with friendly staff. Check-in is at 2 pm instead of the usual 3 pm, which is a bonus. The only downside was the Wi-Fi disconnecting now and then. I brought my own hotspot, so I didn’t spend time trying the different Wi-Fi options. I’d recommend this motel, especially at this price.

The customer service was very accommodating, and the rooms were so nicely kept. Everything was basically white, from the walls and floors to the drapes and blankets. The outside looked a little antiquated, but I loved this hotel.

Lisa at the front desk was courteous and thorough, and I’d stay here again. My remodeled room looked great, but there were German roaches in the crevices, mainly in the bathroom. There’s no closet, which seemed weird, and my non-smoking room smelled like it may have been smoked in years ago. Please work on the German roaches.

The rooms are adorable and newly renovated, with comfortable beds, and the place is quiet, clean, and neat. The desk staff were lovely and sweet, and you can tell they take pride in their work. From outside it looks like a small, old motel, but don’t let that fool you. It’s affordable, feels safe, has lightning-fast internet, and is only a minute from the interstate. My room had a bunk bed, which I think is so cool for families with kiddos. I’ll definitely be back!
