Super 8 by Wyndham Lake City

We had a pleasant stay for the whole week after our car broke down. The clean rooms were decent, and when the bathroom door wouldn't close properly, Danielle sent maintenance and it was fixed right away. The tub area had also been retiled. Everyone was so nice: Teresa served supper each night, Kat and Joyce cleaned the rooms, Danielle was at the front desk, and Sonia worked the breakfast bar. I enjoyed the Community coffee signature blend and sweet tea with supper. Breakfast was made with real eggs, not powdered stuff. With food delivery costing so much these days, getting a decent evening meal was a wonderful treat. Thank you for the clean rooms and nice experience.

We got in at 7:45 pm after traveling from Georgia and, since supper was served until 8, the front desk lady led us to the dining room when we asked if we could eat. A staff member set out two plates, and we had a hot meal. That was going the extra mile, and we appreciated it. Sonya served our hot breakfast in the morning, which was delicious as always. We've stayed at this Super 8 several times and have never been disappointed. We usually book while enroute and call ahead to confirm the room is ready. Well done, Super 8, Lake City!

I only stopped here because every other hotel in town was full, and I don't usually write reviews, but I was impressed. Sure, it's a budget motel, as you'd expect from a Super 8, but the staff were awesome, there was plenty of parking, and the rooms were very clean. The beds were amazingly comfortable. They serve a cook-to-order breakfast in a separate dining room, and it's the best hotel breakfast I've had. If you're passing through and need a place for the night, I'd recommend it.

This doesn't feel like a run-down motel. The rooms are nice, clean, pleasant-smelling, and well maintained, with room service available. There's a hot breakfast in the morning too. I'd highly recommend it for a stopover when you need a place to stay.
