By 6 AM, breakfast was ready with plenty of healthy choices, a nice start after a long travel day. The staff welcomed me warmly, and my room was clean, neat, and felt luxurious. I had a wonderful stay at the Holiday inn Express in America's most interesting town 🌅

The location is great, and the hotel was very clean, which matters a lot to me. Breakfast was the standout: eggs, meats, yogurt, three kinds of juice, sweet buns, fruit, and plenty more. Fran keeps the area spotless and is so friendly. Kenny and Paula at the front desk were kind and accommodating too. Best hotel in town.

Paula deserves a lot of credit for the way she helped us. I’d made a mistake myself, but she was patient and understanding and sorted out the issue without making me feel bad about it. Her kindness made our stay much less stressful. She represents the hotel so well, and service like hers is rare. She deserves recognition, and honestly, a raise or promotion.

I had to cancel in the end because it didn’t look like my friend’s wife would be coming home from the hospital. Paula at the Holiday Express did everything she could to help, even giving us an email number for Hotel Planners to contact the hotel and move the reservation. A full 24 hours later, they still hadn’t contacted the hotel. Paula was amazing. I’d booked at the Holiday inn Express lake placid Florida, but somehow ended up with Hotel Planners, a third party reservation company. They told me they were at the hotel front desk and that I was dealing directly with the hotel, which wasn’t true. When I asked to move my arrival by one day because my friend’s wife had a heart attack and was hospitalized, they said it would cost $106 more. The hotel itself told me there should be no charge and changing the date would be no problem. Hotel Planners were supposed to change the reservation and then cancel it, but they did nothing. I don’t understand how they handled my booking. They lied about being at the hotel and never followed through. Please be aware of Hotel Planners. It feels like a scam.
