We had a really good extended stay here. The remodeled hotel was clean, and the room was tidy. Wi-Fi was super fast, and there were plenty of TV channels. The staff were helpful too. I’d recommend it.

I’ve never had a worse experience. They made up rules to refuse me a room, then still charged the reservation. When I tried to get my money back under their own policy, they ignored me and even hung up when I called. They left me to sort it out alone and wouldn’t work with me. I’ll keep this review up so others know what they might be getting into.

We got no sleep because I spent the night killing roaches, and they weren’t little ones. The room was filthy when we arrived, like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. After we complained, someone came to clean, but only made it somewhat better. There was no hot water either. Management’s response was, “Is it at least luke warm?” and they didn’t seem to care. The lobby looked nice, but the room and the way our complaints were handled made the small savings not worth it. They offered Redi-points instead of returning the $200 we paid, even though the points program was ending November 1st. That was no use to me. I contacted the owner afterward, but nothing was resolved. I’ll never stay with HOMETOWNE STUDIOS/RED ROOF again, and I’ll be contacting the BBB about this awful hotel.

For my work trip, I liked the weekly rate most: $450 plus tax, which is low for around here. The kitchen setup and double-door refrigerator let me store plenty of food. The room seemed renovated, and it was clean and new. I’d recommend it and plan to come back next month for work.
