Homewood Suites Lancaster

The location is convenient, with Walmart two minutes away, plus a gym, shopping, a ball field, and more restaurants nearby. Outside, they’ve got two propane grills and a kitchen area, with the propane supplied. We were very pleased with the nice rooms and the Monday to Wednesday social hour from 5 to 7, where the service was great. Our large group was greeted and checked in efficiently, with rooms sorted out quickly. Photo of our server included. Also, I had my bedroom at 59° last night.

Marina was on her phone with headphones in when I arrived. It took three tries to get her attention. Once she saw me at the desk, she rolled her eyes and asked, “what do you need”. I’ve never felt so disrespected or disappointed. The service was slow and horrible, and McDonald’s at 2 am has better service. I expected more from Hilton. I won’t come back or recommend the place. It needs an audit and serious changes.

The rooms have been updated, and we’ll be back. Breakfast during the week was great, and Wednesday dinner was awesome. Friday was the letdown: the other days had extra protein, tortillas, and cheeses that went well together, but Friday had no extra protein or cheese choices. There were no eggs in the trays, either. When I asked about an egg option, the woman in back looked up from her phone and only said it would be “6 minutes.” That was surprising because the rest of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We could use a few more hooks in the bathrooms, but that’s a small thing.

Brandie at the front desk welcomed us warmly, and check-in was easy. The rooms were clean and had all the conveniences. Marina in the lobby was working hard to make guests’ stays pleasant. We stayed two nights.
