The front desk team is one of the best I’ve come across, even at five-star hotels. They’ll help you get your Bonvoy points even when you booked through a third party, which isn’t something every Marriott property does. This new place, open less than a year, feels fresh and everything works. I travel alone for business, and the smaller room feels more like a friend’s apartment than a hotel room, while still having all the amenities. Parking is easy, and key card access works from every side of the building. There’s a bar open 5-10, plus a pool and fitness center, though I don’t use those. The room decor is tasteful, the huge LG TV is top-notch, and the Wi-Fi worked flawlessly with all three of my devices, phone, laptop, and tablet. Outlets and USB charging points are everywhere, including a few unexpected spots. Housekeeping is apparently daily, which is unusual since COVID, when most Marriott properties I know switched to every other day. I had to hunt for downsides. One section of the kitchen’s under-cabinet LED strip didn’t work, but most people probably wouldn’t notice. Shower pressure was low and hot water took a while. The otherwise nice work area could use a desk lamp. The hotel isn’t easy to spot from the highway and there’s no sign, so use a GPS or map app. You get there from a side road without a traffic light. Everything looks, smells, and feels great, and it’s cheaper than the Residence Inn line in my experience, though dynamic pricing can make comparisons hard. This property punches above its weight. I’m coming back.

Breakfast was very good and had choices even for picky kids. The staff were super friendly, and the facilities were very clean. The pool is small but clean, with towels provided, though there are no showers. Rooms are comfortable, with a compact, tidy, well-organized kitchen that’s fully equipped and has a dishwasher. The bathrooms are nice but short on storage, and the toiletries provided are good. We needed two rooms for five people, but they weren’t guaranteed to be next to each other, and connecting rooms weren’t available as advertised on hotels.com. I’d stay here again.

Both the room and bathroom were spotless, so I didn’t have to do my usual tidying when I arrived. The whole property was clean, and I liked the decor as soon as I walked in. I had a pleasant two-day stay at the Fairfield TownePlace. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, and the breakfast spread was broad and tasty.

The only odd thing we ran into was the thermostat. It’s tucked behind the right wall sconce, and it took us a while to spot it. Otherwise, we’d definitely stay again if we’re in the area. The hotel is very clean, and Jerry at the bar was great, even giving the kids small sodas for free. They don’t have their liquor license yet, so they hand out drink cards at check-in, but you didn’t need to return a card to get a drink. A few guests in the lobby were enjoying the free drinks that way. The indoor pool was spotless, and the modern workout room was well stocked. The hotel opened Mother’s Day weekend 2025, so the staff are still learning the ropes, but they’re kind. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful.
