The meeting room worked well for our small conference, and when we needed printing at the last minute, the hotel helped us out. The microphone wasn't part of the AV rental, but they connected me with their outside vendor that same day. It was still pretty quiet, though the room was small enough for us to project our voices. Marcel was especially accommodating and we had a really nice conversation. Brandon, I think, was helpful too, and Gabriela, I think, was very kind at check-in while we sorted out several room reservations. The rates seemed reasonable. Our rooms were clean and updated, and the sound machine helped cover noise from other guests and the train right beside the hotel. The TV let us log in to our accounts and stream shows. The gym was clean and pleasant, though I wish there'd been cleaning solution so guests could wipe down equipment. I felt bad putting the weights back without doing that. We had a great stay and hope to return.

I always make a point of stopping for coffee at the cafe when I'm in Lansing for work, since chatting with Sheneva is such a nice start to the day. She's warm and upbeat. The Courtyard by Marriott Lansing Downtown has kept its new-hotel feel, with modern, spotless rooms and a fitness center full of good, new equipment. It's my regular place to stay for work in Lansing, and the friendly service is a big part of why.

Alex's food is what makes me want to stay here again. I don't usually eat at hotel bars, but after my flight was delayed I was worn out and just ate in instead of going to a restaurant. The food was so good that I stayed in for dinner each night after that. It's far better than I expected, and having a good meal only a few steps away is a real convenience. The hotel itself is comfortable and quiet, with a clean, modern interior.

The Bistro has been the highlight of our couple of days at the Marriot. Alex made us some great food and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The staff have been friendly, and our room is clean. My fiance and I come from Bay City pretty often for my fiance's appointments at MSU, so if we need to stay overnight again, we'll definitely come back.

I was able to walk to everything I wanted to see in Lansing, which made the location ideal. The staff also made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Janice at the front desk was always smiling and had useful recommendations, and GM Brandon clearly puts a lot of effort into keeping guests happy. I was impressed with my stay at the Courtyard Marriott downtown and would recommend it to people visiting Lansing.
