Ramada Laramie

We didn't stay and moved to another hotel, where we paid only $20 more for a very nice room. The one bright spot was that the front desk cancelled our reservation without charging us after we explained the website was inaccurate. The online photos were very misleading and probably taken years ago. The bar and grill with pool tables was shut down, the exterior needed a lot of repair, and the lobby ceiling tiles were badly water-damaged with about half the lights out. I really don't understand how this hotel meets the Ramada requirements.

Staff were nice, and breakfast was decent when the toaster worked, but I wouldn't recommend staying here. We rented several rooms for a work function, and several weren't clean at check-in: dirty towels, leftover food on the floor, and a dirty toilet seat in one room. Some rooms didn't have enough blankets or pillows. They weren't cleaned during our stay either; when we told the front desk, they brought up towels.

The hot breakfast was enjoyable, and we were cozy all night after using the big, very warm hot tub and heated pool on a cold, snowy night. We drove up from Colorado for a short weekend away. The woman who checked us in was kind and helpful, and our room was clean with a comfy bed. The morning front desk girl was friendly and attentive too. After such a nice stay, I was surprised to see so many bad reviews.

We would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The room was filthy, like stepping back into the 60s or 70s, with hair on the bathroom floor and in the beds. The bathroom ceiling had patch marks, the shower had almost no pressure, and the water barely got hot. Even the door's deadbolt didn't work. They offered a free dinner, but it was cold and terrible. On the second day, housekeeping only made the beds with the same sheets and replaced the bath towels. They left a hand towel with a red juice stain, didn't vacuum the filthy floor, and left the nearly full trash bins untouched.
