Hampton Inn & Suites Las Cruces I-25

The free breakfast was outrageous in the best way: country potatoes, eggs, sausage, baked goods, toast, coffee, and juice. I had two big plates, which set me up for the drive back to El Paso. I was in town for the UTEP @ New Mexico State men’s basketball game on 2/21/26, coming up from El Paso for one night. The hotel is maybe two miles from the University. Everything was great, from the very clean, spacious room and comfortable large king bed to the 50-inch TV with lots of channels. I’ll be back!

The tricky part with five of us was bedtime. There was no sofa bed or pullout, so we ended up with three in one bed and two in the other. Cozy, sure, but not ideal for a booking for five. Everyone made it through, though. The rest of the stay was great, and we had the same experience on both visits, Dec 28, 2025 and Jan 3, 26. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable, and everything seemed cared for. Breakfast deserves applause: eggs, sausage, potatoes, oatmeal, waffles, cereal, pastries, coffee, and juice. Everyone ate happily, and nobody wanted a snack five minutes later, which is a travel miracle. We’d gladly stay again, just be ready to test your family bond at bedtime.

We’ve stayed here three times now, and every visit has gone well. It’s about four miles north of the I-25 and I-10 junction, making it easy enough when traveling east or west on I-10. Rates are reasonable, breakfast is included, and there’s plenty of parking right in front. Even rooms facing the distant freeway aren’t noisy.

I was driving from Arizona to Texas and thought this would make a good midway stop. I was exhausted and fell asleep right away, then noticed the next morning that the bed was filthy. I took photos and showed the team at checkout. They said they’d investigate and contact me, but I never heard from them, so I called customer service, who handled the situation. I’m grateful Hilton helped. Later, the location replied that the sheets were clean and suggested the mark was from a housekeeping cart wheel, not a dog print. To me, dirt is dirt whatever caused it. The photos don’t show how gross it really was. Skip this location.
